1. Seattle Seahawks- the Hawks jump to the top in week 3 with a impressive win over the San Diego Super Chargers. 45- 7. Adrian Peterson rushes for over 200 again and shows that he can’t be stopped. As for the Defense, 5 interceptions on the day. I think they heard me. This Seattle team has became a powerhouse in this league.
2. Detroit Lions- The team from the motor city has showed up this season and became one of the leagues best offences. This week they beat the #1 ranked Vikings and beat em’ bad. Matt Ryan has proved to be a top QB despite throwing a few interceptions. This team can’t be taken lightly.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers- With people scared to throw to Revis Island they seem to forget about CB Tracy Porter and Safety Nick Collins as they combine for 4 picks this week. This D is the best in the league in my opinion. And I’m sure Tampa agrees...Because they took a big goose egg at home this week. Look for the Steelers to control the AFC with they’re bad ass defense.
4. St. Louis Rams- The Rams take down a top ranked team in the Redskins this week. It wasn’t easy or pretty but it works. St. Louis established the run early and often with factor back Steven Jackson getting 136 yards on the day. St. Louis D looks pretty good holding a team as good as the Skins’ to 13 points and forcing 3 INT’s
5. Cleveland Browns- Rookie QB Jimmy Clausen looks like an MVP candidate in week 3 with 287 yards and 4 TD’s. This Brown’s team could be the real deal. Beating division rivals the Baltimore Ravens hasn’t been easy in years past but they make it look that way this week.
6. Cincinnati Bengals- The Bengals do everything they can this week to make the Panthers look like a pop warner team, beating them 52-7. Jonathan Stewart shows that he can’t just be pushed over as he rushes for 188 yards and 2 scores. Bengals are a top flight team in this league and need to be watched.
7. New England Patriots- After losing week one to the Bengals they have started a 2 game winning streak. Recently blowing out the Bills 56-28 put them back into the thick of things. With Randy Moss just eating up defenses this team will be tough. 259 yards and 3 TD’s this week means Moss is for real and defenses need to gameplan for him.
8. Chicago Bears- The Bears have had 2 good weeks and this week beating the Packers 33-0 puts them on my top ten for the first time this season. The D got 2 picks and 5 sacks and help the Bears stomp their rivals.
9. Minnesota Vikings- Even tho they lost this week, I can’t count them out. Not a lot to say bout them this week, but I’m sure they’re will be plenty to say bout them for weeks to come.
10. Washington Redskins- Another team that lost this week but I think still deserve to be in the top ten. They have a great core of players and a lot of potential and leading their division as well. So the Skins do just enough to stay in the top ten.
